Good start in the BKT EuroCup on the Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem court (64-80)

Basket began its journey in the BKT EuroCup with a triumph with a team win on
the Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem court for 64-80 in a game that was played in
the Bulgarian town of Samokov. The taronja team took control of the game from a
2-14 run at the end of the first quarter with Costello's offensive prominence
and maintained its advantage at halftime with great collective work generating
second options in the offensive rebound and with the points by Xabi and
Montero. After the break, the Valencian team remained ahead despite the lack of
3-point accuracy with craftsmanship and defensive intensity and although Harper
assumed the offensive role of his team to try to catch the game in the last
act, Valencia Basket found accuracy in the triples and good defense to protect
their advantage and add the first win of the season.
